✨ Program Overview Our Society Student Government is an immersive, project-based civics and leadership program designed for homeschool and micro-school students in grades 5–9. Unlike traditional classroom civics, this program lets students step into the roles of real government — creating laws, leading parties, debating issues, and solving challenges together. It’s hands-on, collaborative, and built to turn students into confident young leaders. 🏗️ Program Structure 📅 12-Week Leadership Simulation Weekly 2-hour sessions In-person at Our Society Learning Academy – Lakeland, FL Open to both Our Society students and outside homeschool/private school students 🗳️ Three Branches of Government Executive – President, Vice President, and appointed cabinet Legislative – Student Congress drafts and votes on bills Judicial – Student Court reviews legislation for constitutionality 🏛️ Political Parties & Elections Students will: Join or form political parties Develop platforms and campaign strategies Participate in live debates, mock elections, and real decision-making 🎯 What Students Will Learn Public speaking & persuasive communication Teamwork & problem-solving Leadership and negotiation skills Critical thinking & civic literacy Real-world application of U.S. government structure Program Features 🎭 Role-play & immersive scenarios 🪧 Real legislation writing & debates 🏆 Leadership challenges & merit awards 📝 Mock press briefings & crisis simulations 🫱 Hands-on collaboration with peers 🔔 Event Launch: Open House Join us as we launch the Our Society Student Government Program! 📅 Date: November 1st, 2025 🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM 📍 Cleveland Heights Golf Course – Lakeland, FL Come meet the team, learn about the program, and register your student for this 12-week immersive civics experience. 🎓 Recommended for: Grades 6–9 🤝 5th graders welcome through our Jr. Leadership track. 💰 Enrollment Information Flat fee for full 12-week program Limited seats (10–30 students per cycle) Includes materials, role cards, student constitution, and leadership badge 👉 Scholarships and payment plans available. 🧭 Why This Matters We’re not just teaching government — we’re building the next generation of leaders.
